Talking Show Time!

Stinger.

Maybe later I will put a reservoir in one of the bays.

I fabricated a blockoff too run the tubing through--the least invasive mod I could think of. The Silencer will hide my handiwaork as you will see.

Coming together. Basically this is the same rig that was in the WaterClocker case minus one HD 2900XT.

Siverstone DA750. I weghed it and the TT Toughpower 750 and the DA is 8 oz. heavier so I went with it

I ran the tubing extra extra long at this point. Once I get situated and know how everything laysout I will snip it to length.

Here's the Hydra capped off for a single loop test.

I relocated the Monolith opposite Crunch by the floor register to catch the AC.

Running 00% Dasani no additives. This is an all Copper/Brass loop--I will lilkely dump some HydrX in there later.

Quick check in BIOS to make sure I did not kill anything...

I got big brassy...erm parts and NO FEAR so I did not bother leak testing...my stuff never leaks. Gotta love pinch clamps. I used special ones for soft tubing.

The Sonex made a bid difference. there is a 1" gap between the top and the chassis...almost like it was made to be...

The tubing is nicely stealthed by the Silencer. The case is amazingly silent. I puposely did not attenuate any of the fans and the AC Ryans are really annoying loud at full tilt--yet with the case closed you would hardly know it was on.

What watercooling?

Oh...that watercooling...

The Hydra on the floor--I built a barricade to keep the little ones off it...

So right now at 3200mhz ( 8 x 400) with 1.45Vcore (1.6 PLL) Folding I am at 46C. Ambient is about 27C. I feel am about 4C higher than I wuld like to be.

This test I used AS5. Now in a day or too the AS5 should show about 3 C lower temps. I will also use Shin Etsu uinder the same conditions and see what temps I get that way too.

I am not quite done screwing around with the build. I plan to mount the Areca 1210 RAID5 aray in the case as well...but I thought it best to se how everything went first and I am waiting on some fans I ordered from Cooler Guys.

Overall I am pleased. Mnolith is considerably quieter than I expectd and now I need to see how many rigs it will cool.

More soon
