Default The Stable E1000/E2000 Rigs Configuration Thread

This thread is designed to list all stable E1XX0 (Intel dual-core Celeron) and E2XX0 (Intel Dual-Core Allendale) rigs configurations. I received so many PMs and emails from members regarding the E1XX0/E2XX0 rig configuration. We have similar threads that make a components list but most important is configuration especially BIOS settings. It is a good idea to have a page to list all stable configurations. I encourage members who have E1XX0/E2XX0 rig provide their configuration. Many members and guests will greatly appreciate your efforts.. Pleas run the stress test (Orthos or Prime95) for at least 6 hours before you submit the configuration information.

Intel E1000 and E2000 Family Processors Specs

This list is not a contest list. The configurations information will be sorted by cooling type, chipset and motherboard. Due to the limited space, I will use abbreviation for each column. Please review foot note for detail description and content of each abbreviation. By default, C1E, EIST and TM2 are disabled and PCI-E frequency sets to 100.

Comments
1*. Fails orthos @ 3.3GHz with 1.55vcore, not willing to push it higher.
2*. 8800GTS 320 @ 621/918 = 10,398 in 3dmark06. Zalman CNPS9500 for cooling. Also noticed temp gap.
3* 1,536(CPU-Z)/1,57V BIOS. Got it 3,4Ghz but Vcore was too high 1,6+V to be "stable
4* Run at 3708 412*9 and could run prime95 however when would try to validate cpuz it would crash, i believe it needed more vcore but was at 1.55 already and was not pressing any farther
5* the chip has very good potential but it needs more voltage (1.6-1.7v) and better cooling for higher OC
6* I haven't tried to push this too much. I've only had it a couple of days and I've been busy. I'm hoping to get it up a little more this weekend but I'm still satisfied for my first crack at Intel (used to be AMD guy).
7* System Temp is 31 on idle / going to 40 on gaming, on cpu stress system temperature is at 33cels. vcore drops on Load in steps. i try also vcore to give + - but i dont see any big difference only maybe in temp little bit
8* ASRock 4CoreDual-Sata2, still attempting higher FSB/RAM clocks
9* CPU temps are of conventional measure, not Core temps, as they mean very little to any of us yet.
10* This is still work in progress
11* 68/68 for Blend/Small FFT,1.3625-Bios/1.29-CPU-Z under load, TAT hits 70c!
12* Stock HSF. Could definitely go higher than 3.2 with some adjustments
13* Need to increase the Vcore from 1.35 to 1.45 just to get it fully stable past 3ghz
14* Prime95 Large TFT self test 1024 and 896 passed.
15* Any fsb up to 395 is stable given enough volts, after 356 fsb I drop my ram to 1:1 ratio. vdroop modded
16* Max 300*9@2700mhz,DDR 2-3-3-6 1T @500 3-3-3-8 2T @514
17* FSB wall at 340, won't post. Max speed 333x10 fails ORHTOS 2 sec.
18* Load/Idle temp is based on a probe in the case not mobo
19* Thought i would be able to get to 3.8 without breaking 70 on Orthos. Have the Vcore pretty high but im gonna try to get to 1.7 after i get another radiator. Goal is 3.7.
20* DDR2 2.22v/Software. CPU PLL/1.070v for SB 1.05v
21* thermaltake big typhoon(stock fan) w/ arctic cooling MX-2. ultra x-connect 500watts modular
22* 1.344-1.360 idle 1.344 load cpu-z, had it running for 12 hours Orthos Small FTTs so far. Freezer is set on auto for now, once temps are getting too high ill change it to full blast.
23* My max was 450 with lower multi, i also tried 410 and 420 with diffrent vcore and ram settings, couldnt get stable.
24* Need better cooler, was stable at 3.6Ghz but I wasnt comforatable with the temps.
25* CPU VTT = 1.31 V / MCH 1.25 V = 1.37 V /ICH 1.05 V = 1.09 V/ICHIO 1.5 / V = 1.55 V/ DDR2 REF = 0 %/GTLREF 0&2 = GTLREF/ 1&3 = 67
26* CPU cooling is terrible right now. Lapping CPU/HSF soon. Within the next 2-3 weeks I will have GB DS3L. The AC 7 is getting a dual 120mm fan mod once i open the case again.
27* I cranked all voltages when trying to find max stable OC. Regardless of how high I went, 1.325v was just as stable as 1.5v.
28* Got me up to 3.2GHz (200MHz more than my E2180). Seems newer E2xxx CPU's certainly don't clock as well as the early samples. But for the price, they can't be beat or budge gamers/OCers

  • Multi. CPU multiplier. Normally it is between 6-11 for now.
  • CPSD. CPU clock speed.
  • Ram SPD. Memory speed. CPU : RAM ratio
  • Ram TM. Memory timing. Right now, we just need tCL, tRCD, tRP and tRAS which locates in the first four columns in the DDR timing section on most motherboards. I think this is good enough at most cases. Sub timing is the last thing you want to touch. I will put them on the comments column if you provide.
  • DDRV. DDR voltage. Some motherboards are using the actual voltage number and some are using incremental number form the base 1.8v. So, just capture whatever displays on the screen.
  • NBV. NorthBridge voltage. Some motherboards use GMCH. Any others will place on comments
  • SBV. SouthBridge voltage. Some motherboards use ICH, ICHIO, SB or SBIO. Any others will place on comments
  • CoreV. CPU voltage. Deafult is BIOS core voltage. If you provide core voltage for idle and load. I will list them in comments.
  • VID. You can obtain this from Core Temp.
  • Idle Temp: Idle temperature. Core 0/Core 1
  • Load Temp: Load temperature. Core 0/Core 1
  • Comments: Any items can’t fit in existing column
