Jessie's Gumdrop - Day 09
This update contains a couple of short work sessions mxed with today's work session which was all painting

Ok, lets get to it...
The BEHEMOTH makes an appearance!! Thats the current case for Jessie's pc parts. I brought it down the other night and put it out of commission - permanently

gutting and dusting out

my fancy new LED extension cord, now you can see if your about to get zapped, when you get zapped, instead of guessing

ZOMG Octopus!

after taming that beast and slapping it on the work table - its about to get destickered and sanded

flirting with death to tape off the inside of the psu vents

taped off the back stuff
did yo know this old psu has a yate loon 80 mm fan? no wonder it still rocks

taped off the cdrom drive opening, faceplate was painted by pro paint

suffocated the octopus and taped it all down

the flat black anodized handles that no longer impressed me, ready for some clear

feet and handle washers, and cdrom, ready for prime and paint

psu ready for prime and paint

priming action...

2 coats clear on the handles

I did 3 coats of primer on all the parts that were getting primed

heres the 4th clear coat on the handles, couldnt resist

on the cdrom, psu, and washers I did two quick coats separated by 2 minutes, then let sit 10 mins, and did two more quick coats the same way...

after the 4th coat of paint I was actually liking the paint work, and getting hungry

food break, a chicken roll thing from pizza place, mhmm...

while eating mind wandered to next project...
MUST
STAY
FOCUSED

I did a small dance as I checked the psu paint after I ate...

I think I am enjoying this painting stuff, and if I might say so myself, getting fairly decent at it

the tunage as I left my shop for the evening
tomr I will see if the psu and cdrom need a couple coats of clear or not. That Krylon clear really sits down nice after a few minutes

And their paint is just sweet imho
thanks for watching
