Update:

Finished the drilling for blowholes. I'm not sure about whether or not I'll put a blowhole on the top panel, so I haven't drilled one yet...

Back Panel

Cut out the mesh. I'll tell you, it wasn't easy. There wasn't a good way to clamp the thing down because of all those bends in the metal. I ended up bending the entire back panel with the clamps. I bent them back though, but I'm still not sure if it's perfectly straight yet. This metal is ridiculously easy to bend, I'm not even sure if it's steel...

Close Up

Ok, so the sabre saw wasn't working well. The blade would drop out of the saw every 1 minute or so, and it was pretty hard to cut exactly on the line since there wasn't much space to see due to the cover of the sabre saw. I think it came out pretty nice though, I still can't get the hang of filing. Never seem to be able to get it perfectly smooth.

So... I'll start working with acrylic tomorrow. Hope it doesn't turn out as a disaster.

BTW, would super glue hole acrylic in place or no?
I'll get you a picture of the glue, wait.

EDIT: Ok, here's a pic of the materials I have.

There's some sort of putty for plumbing repairs, a tube of chinese super glue, and a tube of a silicone based bond or something.
Which one would be best for bonding acrylic to a piece of plastic?
