Jessie's Gumdrop - Day 14 - Project Complete
This piece of mesh has been tormenting me since day 1(not literally but you know what I mean) time to fix once and for all with some Welder cement. I put some dabs thru the mesh onto those black tape tabs to help hold the upper edge of the mesh

then weighted it down for a few hours while I began cleaning out my shop for some shelving and more work table area

peeled the backers off the acrylic work. not the greatest cut job but its ok enough

used 3m double sided tape to mount the bottom of the acrylic base to the bottom of the case

slapped the door back on

while the glue was still drying, and I was cleaning up the shop, I popped upstairs to see what the wife and Jess were up to. That table looks so big and empty, haha

a little while later I brought up everything except the computer itself. Jessie was a bit put off by the "monitor that doesnt do anything" hahaha.

a bit later, when I was able to reassemble the case and bring it up, my wife kept Jess busy in Jessie's room while I set up the pc and powered it up...

as promised: First Reaction photo!!
(where's Repo

)

I think she likes it

woo, fancy green letters...

hehe

...and that makes it all worth it, dont you agree?

Now a quick recap - before and after...
Well thats all for this project and worklog. Its been a lot of work but it was fun, and I learned a lot, this being my first full case mod. I want to thank all the members and staff here at OCN for helping me out along the way, and for making this project a great experience.
Thanks again to everyone
