The bondo begins!

Didn't get as much done as I wanted, rain blew in and dampened up the scene. Did get something accomplished though. Got the "Gateway" raised letters sanded off the top and began filling in the floppy drive and the recessed sticker after the "Gateway" letters. To the pics!

My watermark kind of covers the top lettering, but you can see it later in the pics.

There's the lettering. The "Gateway" is raised and the "P5-113" is recessed (and is a sticker). I had to sand the lettering off, via some 120 grit sandpaper, and put some filler in the sticker hole.

Starting to sand, getting there.

Halfway!

Ta-dah! Gone.

Here I peeled off the top sticker and got everything sanded and ready for bondo.

Aforementioned bondo and hardener.

This was the first layer of filler in the floppy drive. I got a second layer (that relatively smoothed/finished it) on after this, as well as the sticker hole filled, but as I said, this was at the point the rain blew in. I packed up my stuff and retreated indoors. More to come soon though.
