Here's my personal review on 4870 Crossfire setup with Zalman GV1000 Cooler.

Test setup -
E8500@4.2GHz
X48 Rampage Formula
Raptor X 150G RAID 0
HX1000W
4870 Crossfire

Sleek design, great performance. GV1000 also comes with 8 memory heatsinks.
The only con I think is as you can see from the picture, second crossfire bridge is hard to put which seems like it's not designed for the crossfire setup.


3DMARK06 - CCC 8.7 4.2GHz *790/1100


Temperature


idle - 49, 47 / load - 66, 63.5 *3600rpm 100% but it's pretty quite, considering it's 3600rpm!!

Real gaming performance.
Everything is recorded by Fraps.

Crysis
x64, All very high, 1920x1200, no AA *15 minutes in first battle scene
Avg: 35.916 - Min: 17 - Max: 64

Hellgate
x64, Best Quality, 1920x1200, AA 4X *15 minutes in the battle scene
Avg: 66.693 - Min: 23 - Max: 120

GRID
1920x1200, Multisampling:4XMSAA, Best Quality except AA 8AA too laggy. *just one racing with 10 cars
Avg: 95.731 - Min: 67 - Max: 145
