Compare OEM's to Mac, nothing competes with building it yourself....

Lets do a full comparison then, I'll try to make everything as equal as possible, but if I can't then the better one will be in bold:

Dell Studio Hybrid vs Mac Mini
2.00GHz C2D vs 2.00GHz C2D
2GB DDR2 667
160GB SATA HDD vs 160GB SATA HDD
5.1 Channel Audio vs ? (Probably stereo?)
GMA X3100 vs GMA 950
8X Slot Loading Combo Drive vs. 8X Slot Loading Combo Drive
Wireless 802.11n vs 802.11g
8-in-1 Card reader vs Firewire?
2.0 Channel Speakers vs. Built in speaker (mono?)
7 Distinct Colors vs. Apple White
$739 vs $1097

HP Touch Smart 22" vs iMac
2.16GHz C2D vs 2.4GHz C2D
4GB DDR2 667 vs 4GB DDR2 667
500GB HDD vs 500GB HDD
8X(?) Slot Loading Combo Drive vs. 8X Slot Loading Combo Drive
GeForce 9300M GS HD 256mb vs. Radeon HD 2400XT 128mb
Stereo Speakers vs Stereo Speakers
Built in Mic vs Built in Mic
802.11n vs 802.11n
5-in-1 card reader vs nothing
1 Firewire (400?) vs 1 Firewire 400 + 1 Firewire 800
56k modem vs. Common sense
Built in webcam vs Built in webcam
22" Touch Screen LCD vs. 20" LCD

$1551.99 vs $1699 Closer but I mean, TOUCHSCREEN!

XPS 730 vs Mac Pro (I'm going to assume that if you need two processors that you know how to build your own rig so I'll save Apple that Ass-whooping
Q9550 2.83GHz vs Xeon 2.8GHz (Tough call, so I won't start another war here)
4GB DDR3 1066 vs 4GB DDR2 800
1TB HDD vs 1TB HDD
Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic vs Unspecified Apple (probably onboard )
9800GT vs 8800GT (Hmm... )
Everything else basically the same, I'm not going to type it all out...

$2409 vs $3349 So it seems that even with DDR3, the Dell still beats the Apple out by nearly $1000! And remember, this is one OEM compared to another, if I were to do the PC off Newegg someone would be selling Steve Job's ****-stained pants on eBay...

Well, how about that?

Also, the Mac PRO is a workstation, compare it to a workstation with 2 processors. IT doesnt care if you can custom build a computer; they dont use custom builds in IT usually (99.999% they do not). Therefore, you have to base your price off of the workstations Dell and HP provide.

Ill let you redo your last comparison.
