Day 5-Layin wires.

Alright so i spent most of the day learning about how wiring works and how to solder.

First i set up the toggle to a ccfl

im not gona solder this stuff together until i get the computer put together so i can see if i need to lengthen any wires.

next i took off the faceplate to try to make a mesh cover for the rheobus

made some marks on tape over a drive bay cover

cutting didnt go so well im going to need to get a file tomorow that is circle shaped, worst case scenario i scrap this cover and leave on the acrylic peice it looks pretty snazy as it is.

next i hotwired the remote externaly to the dvd drive

this went horribly at first i managed to lose the fan belt out of the drive and had to take the whole thing apart and reasemmble it i hope it still works

well at least the switch opens and closes it, i wont find out whether it works until i get this whole thing put together.

I didnt take any pictures but i attempted to superglue together the front mesh fan bays for the front fans but it ended in me failing miserably at attaching them and spilling superglue on my desk, myself, my jeans, and my carpet. Oh and btw superglue makes plastic catch fire and smoke, Lawl.

Tomorow im going to finish making the panel for the military and vandal switch's and stealth the dvd drive.

Thanks for watching! ^_^
