Day 6-Finishing the front panel.
Hello again ladies and gentlemen. today is probably the biggest update so far i worked from like 12 hours straight today on it, modding takes far longer than i originaly anticipated it would take. Anyway heres your daily dose of pictures.
fan filters take 2
since i took out my drive bays these fit on now
these two will be my front fans
got some stuff today
colorshifting paint ive been all excited for
package from cristian piper, he was a great seller if you ever need to buy from him dont stress on it everything was packaged well and he gave me a great deal(all this for 35 bucks)
thermaltake fan
actic silver 5
and oh boi im gona need to lap this true
managed to get a much better work area(however crappy it still is)
first cut on rheobus mesh peice
just a ruff draft
and after a little work
looks good
i would cut circles around each dial but i had to make these cuts with a dremel
top 3 slots finished(still need to be painted)
i coulda done better but this is my first time modding, next time ill put a lot more effort into it
next i finished the fan guards
and put the first one in
much better than those big bulky hdd cages
and second one finished
starting to look good
plugged in the fans and their is no rattle
i no it looks ugly right now but im going to paint every mesh peice and use yate loons enstead of those fans.
alright these are ready to be painted now
started sanding down a peice to test out the green paint on tomorow
these sponges are nice
and done, that thing took like 45 minutes at least
lastly for the night i did some cable management, i dont have my mobo yet so i hope the holes i cut will work fine
arg i started first hole to find out battery is dead have to let it charge
ahh much betta
and the other peice
Alright thats all for tonight i hope u enjoyed. Tomorow i will test out that new paint and lap the true.
Thanks for watching! ^_^
