Day 6.5-Tasty green paint.
Hi again, today i test painted a panel with the green. Here are a some pics.
first i painted the pci covers and a small peice that i thought i would throw into the mix.

coat of black
and done
looks fine
Prep work took like 3 hours, had to bring everything i need outside sand it all down and mask it off.
masking it off sucked
very smooth though

alright heres where everything went to hell. one of the cans of black base for the mirage has a hole in the back of the nozzle and sprays two streams, one out of both the nozzle and behind it. i didnt no this until i was actualy spraying the first layer and it got ugly drips all over the top...
after sanding as well as i could
im just going on your barely going to see this peice anyway
first color coat on
barely any green yet
second coat of color
starting to look shimmery
third coat
still kinda weak color transition
a few coats later
still not what i want
alright this is after like 8+ coats i lost count
now its starting to pick up effect
no clearcoat on yet im hoping that brings it out more
going to have to let it dry overnight before i sand and clearcoat tomorow
Alright thats all for now im going to lap my true over tonight and tomorow morning so ill have a update on that and the finished paint job tomorow morningish.
