Day 8-Things start to take shape.

Woke up to a call from the antec guy, he was extremely helpful and cooperative and i had a great experience overall working with their customer service. we talked for about 3 minutes apparently he actualy checked out my link and read my build log and he agreed to send me the replacement wire. It should get here in time to be lengenthed and painted before the project deadline.

I then walked downstairs to see if my packages were here yet, indeed they were. also grabbed stuff drying from yesterday

everything came out fine

blackfire fan

rivets

new dvd drive, hopefully i manage to NOT break this one

shiny new rivet gun

took tape off top panel

didnt damage the top coat at all

its hard to get the real color to show in these pictures

started riveting stuff together

this turns out to be a crapload of work, i have to work each rivet into place through the paint

had a issue here where i managed to rivet something together the wrong way

getting close

had a issue with the c-channel here after riveting, dosnt fit anymore ill work on this more later. for now i used superglue didnt go so great..

the superglue leaves a ugly trail im going to have to clean up

started test fitting parts

looking good so far

cable management? lol...

everything on including side panel without paint job or acrylic yet

this thing is starting to look good

this panel still needs some work on the top once i get more mirage

naked backside

view from side window

im liking this fan

the weird spots are only in the picture it actualy looks great in person

next i put in front fans and hit ignition

front view(position arnt final)

the blackfire fan glows a nice bright green

next i threw in the ccfl's

just the right amound of lighting

just noticed how well you can see reflections in the paint job

tryed a test hiding of the ccfl's, ill find final positions for them later.

then i took a few hours to write up a list of work i need to do on wires while im gone over the weekend. good luck trying to read my handwriting...

Well that was fun but thats all for now, im going to be gone from tomorow till tuesday but i am going to try to see if i can find time to do that list of sleeving and solders while im on the road and will update you from meh laptop.

When i get back ill paint side panels and do final adjustments. I would love some feedback on what you think of the look of it as of this update, so speak up constructive critisism is welcome.

Thanks for watching. ^_^
