Sept. 7 - The window is cut
Been working on this since early Saturday, but figured I would wait to post until it was done.

With Syrillian's mock up panel here I checked and rechecked my placement of the acrylic window behind the side panel for clearances. I then sketched/traced the template I made onto the side panel, decided to move it again, and finally got to cutting the panel.

Pics!

This was the spot I had after all the fittings. The lines show exactly how far over and up I could go with the window and still have clearance as the panel not only has to slide back, but also up a bit for everything to come off (dang back/top/side panel

lol)

Just checking where it will sit, and tracing the cuts onto the panel.

The template

My template and Syr's window traces were a bit different, lmao

I ended up not liking the placement of the cut here so I cut a bit of excess of the acrylic panel to pull the cutout over/toward the rear of the case some.

~1" cut off the side of the window. (Man it really hurt to cut that window, it was so beautiful/perfect from Syr,lmao)

Sprayed some gray paint over the old markings I had and redrew them now that I had the panel cut.

I traced the four outer circles with the window, and used a C.D. for the connecting angles.

Pilot holes drilled for my jigsaw

(My neighbor borrowed my [old] sawhorses and broke them

They crippled up enough for one last stand

) The tool of destruction/creation,lol.

Repo himself in an action shot!

My friend was over helping hold the panel, so I was like, ohhh get an action shot!

LOL

Finally cut!

Looks awesome to me, just how I envisioned it, I love when plan comes to fruition.

(Still needs some filing though, I have to buy a rounded bastard file, all I have is a flat one

)

How it will look with the window behind it
So, finally, more work!

I have some small pieces I've been working on I'll post pics of later today. Things falling together now! I still need to get a few small things in order as far as extras inside the case, of course
paint, and fans (probably the most expensive part of the build

) As always, thanks for watching guys!!
