I have a little update for everyone viewing, I plan on working on this for the next 3 days so should make some good progress. I have some better pictures of the earlier pieces for you guys that look good. Remember the panel from last update well its going to shown here.
Just for laughs and giggles to compare my work, I took a few pictures of a 2009 VW Jetta that looks strikingly similar to my color. Could that be a coincidence?

The reflection of the sky and I can actually see the metallic effect here. Nice
Showing a clear reflection. Awesome
So we'll use that as the reference specimen.. Since I did use the same paint and a color that a autobody shop would use to paint your car (Dupont) this works as the perfect reference specimen.
Now on to the show,
Remember what the panel looked like before ? It looked like a orange.
All sanded smooth
Now This is what it looks like after.
The difference is like night and day. Here are some more pics closer because the panel is not shy

As you can see I tried to capture the sky like in the Jetta photo.

So what do you viewers think? Did I do a good job on matching the 2009 Jetta's paint job? I'll let all of you tell me if I did or not. Even though the color is uncanny to the Jetta, I actually used a color from 2006 Porsche line.
