To start a good modding day, need a good lunch. Subway - Food of the gods, and mikes hard - not my favorite but good nonetheless.

But wait, a package?!

It is! My A700's that I purchased of crazcookye. Most comfortable things ever..

Back to the modding, first thing would be to redo the bondo job I cracked yesterday.

I didn't learn from last time.. And I forgot my thin spreader too. Lots of sanding ahead..

While I wait for that to dry, time to take on the blowhole.

..But the file kept falling out of the bloody handle. Loose like a..

In case you didn't catch the post yesterday, if you look into the hole you can see the metal. That's gotta go..

Seems so quick and easy when I post the pictures in review, this took a goof while to get to though.

No more metal visible!

Back to the bondo. It went a hell of a lot faster with my newly acquired 80 grit heavy duty sandpaper.

Here is the back of the faceplate. you can see where I made cuts to accommodate the ABS fitting.

Sadly the grill doesn't fit quite right yet. Gotta cut that down with a saw or a machine when I get the time.

In the meantime I figure I would sand it down. Took a long time to get the chrome paint off.

Remember I said something about improvising? This is how I make round holes

And just a quick job on the back cut, sanded it clean. Notice the little red bump on my palm? That's where I hit myself earlier with the file. Fortunately I got ice on it quick so it didn't swell much.
Anyways, found some self etching primer finally. Now I gotta wait on mnpctech to send it. Will take 14-30 days

In the meantime there is still a good deal of work to be done on the front though.
