Sorry it's been dull the last few days, I've done a bit of work but been completely off in sleeping and I never found the time to post up the pictures.

Anyways, here's where it's at..

Couldn't forget the cathode controller! This is where CR sparked an idea

Took apart the receiver and controller for paint.

Here was the primer. Turned out to be a terrible primer for the plastic, but I also painted the rheobus faceplate. That will be facing inwards inside the case.

What's this? Another package!

From petras this time, got two big fans, a couple cold cathodes for my buddy, then a slew of fan screws and thumbscrews and a couple other nifty things.

I have plans for these 250mm fans..

I mentioned the cathode controller, this is where it's gonna go. Also, disregard my painted toenails, A friend thought it would be cute to do while I was asleep and it turns out no one in this family knows where the nail-polish remover is.

Made the markings

Cut it out.

And it fits like a champ! I painted the faceplate flat black, but this was another one I was using.

Time to think cable management. I made a few cuts so I could route the wires through the frame where it's out of sight.

These two should take care of all the sata cables that need to go to the motherboard and anything else through there.

That was it for case modding yesterday, my dad and I wanted to get the roof rack on the bus before the sun went down. Note, there are about 7 less no-parking signs in toronto now.

Was a pretty day, but pretty cold too.

Got up this morning because I wanted to inspect the cable management behind the motherboard tray. Turns out it isn't gonna be as easy as I first thought, note where the markings are, I'll be cutting there shortly.

See the cable management holes?

They are absolutely useless as the tray is pressed right up against the back side panel. So much for that.

Anyways, I'm gonna get to cutting and painting a few more things. I'm hoping it's not too cold today, otherwise I'll have to set-up shop in the garage. Should have an update coming tonight.
