Was watching the newest Indiana Jones (not nearly as good as the originals) when a package came.

Performance-PCs this time! time to get cracking on some cables.

To my surprise when I went downstairs two bags of green LEDs fell out, totally forgot I ordered them

Can you spot where I'm going with this?

Time to sleeve the SATA cable green. I want to have a nice contrast, so mostly everything will be black and then there will be the two green SATA cables.

The heatshrink fit perfectly too. Notice in the background my 'painters corner'? Everything I've painted black so far is there so it doesn't get scratched or marked up.

I figured 25mm is the perfect length.

Here is a picture to show the nice contrast.

Remember my rheobus? Now it's green on low speeds and white on high

Next was to sleeve together the two GPU power cables.

It was a bit of fun getting the right length as they had to have enough room to seperate.

But it all worked out well.

Looks much better than having the two wires separate for the time being.

Lastly I decided to sleeve my two 3000rpm kaze's for my geminII.

Taking off the header was a breeze

Initially I did just green, but then I realized I had 10' of green sleeving, most of which won't be used elsewhere, so I may as well experiment.

Here's the comparison.

The effect is quite nice actually.

Stuck that back on too, so far so good.

Now sooner or later I will have to sleeve most of my fan wires, but I'm holding off on that because I want to see where they lead and where I can route them. It's easier to manipulate the wires without the sleeving, so some of the ones that need to make tight turns may not get sleeved.

I'm still delaying painting the inside of the case, I want to make sure everything is 100% great. If you guys haven't figured by now, I'm kinda a perfectionist with my work. I hate half-assed mods.

Oh, and PS, if things are slow the next week or two, here's why..

I'm just heading off to take a shower and I'll be picking it up within an hour!
