Got the panels back from my paint company for clear coating:




Pictures really don't do the artwork justice and the clear coat reflects the light away from the artwork as well as hides the brushed aluminum look, making everything much more vivid and crisp.

Some of you may remember how I find out a broken Ionice Purifier in the dumpster and took it home and found it had 4 fans in there. I am considering now using it for this project or for my HTPC. Here are some pictures:








I plan on putting a GTX 480 in there with 4x Sans Ace 1011, shrouds and all, and wire the fans into the built in controller and power supply. Also planning on putting a CD waterfall reservoir on the top part of it. If I do use it for this project, I will probably have the same Gaia artwork with Mother Nature airbrushed on to the outside after painting it dark green.
