Day 29
yea... i know its been awhile. i finally got to this part of it.. took me awhile to think of this solution. i have no idea why but it did.
i have 2x 6"x1.5"x3" aluminum rectangles.. what am i going to use these for? you'll see.

the two used to be 1ft as thats the smallest size i can get.. so... i bought a new friend along to play with. a portable table saw. this thing cut through it like butter. i felt no resistance at all. so amazing.

too bad i can't keep it. not enough space in my apartment.

i need to find a studio or something for my work.
then i drilled 2 sets of 4 holes on the thinner side. then smoothed out the holes witha dremel. don't need to make it look nice again as it'll be covered up.

here are the other holes on the other side.

so you see how my case is standing on books? bad... as i need some of those books this semester.. can you see where this is going now?

so.. i lie the case on its side...

off comes the wheels

the rectangles go on.

back on go the wheels.

and voila! awesome solution.

lots of room for my fans to breathe too.
at first, i was going to build a big bottom compartment and stuff but that would've become way too expensive and time consuming. this costed me $15 and it looks pretty good too. all thats left is some more lighting and the psu extender.
