some supplies I got from home depot yesterday, some particulate masks, a real chipping hammer for slag, a couple better steel wire brushes, and a pair of general work gloves, so not to wreck my welding gloves when moving steel and grinding crap, etc
set up the arc station
insane contraption for test welds
god-awful corner welds wont flow into the joint. I have the amperage maxed (nearly) need to mess with these weld types more tomr
test welds not to bad from outside
cut my losses and cut the base pieces for the bench
4 * 12" with 45d corners
test fit
corner clamped, ready to weld
finish shots of the one base weld I got done (3 sides of one corner)
skipped the inside corner weld until I can sort out the problem tomr
