Butcher's Hook - Day 10 - All your base are belong to us

um, dilemma? not enough room for stuff methinks...

as enthusiasts we'll make due with whats available right? The mobo plate will be suspended, but in the pic I had to stack it to see if the idea is even feasible.

if the owner of this case wants an optical drive they can stick it somewhere Plan from here: no optical drive (or concern of it)

lets make an hdd mount

marked off holes

drill outs with 9/64" (lets 6-32 pass thru clean)

mounted the hdd in the mount (where else would it be mounted ) and aligned it to the frame

clamped the mount to the frame

after the mount was tight and in good position I removed the drive

welding time

this pic is like

this pic is like

and this pic is just stupid

I tried to tack the corners with 1/16" stick at lowered amps, and had all kinds of problems. at the end of the day, it came back to 5/64 at 100 amps (when in doubt, cook that son of a...

ugly welds but when grinded and repaired it should be cool, plus its a hidden section

there she am

I didnt mount the psu because I want to double-check some specs. more soon

thanks for watching
