Butcher's Hook - Day 10.2 - some goodies

me package from mcmaster, lets see what we have

a box of 1/40-20 allen socket heads in black oxide, 5/8" thread shafts

20 male-female standoffs in 6-32 with 1/4" hex barrel height, 3/16" hex - basically standard mobo standoffs

a welding magnet that does 90,75,60,45, and 30 degree angles. I will have to use a thin sheet of metal when I use this because the angle faces are not closed, so my rod for the star will slip inside and not align to the angle faces without something to block them flat. I'll take a pic of this when the time comes

sheet metal brake (which I ended up not needing for this project but will come in handy for others. The sheet metal I have on this project is to thick for this brake anyway, at least without being scored first)

we'll see more of this on other projects I am sure

now brace yourselves, I went a little crazy with the hook...

I should have gotten the J hook I was going to get originally but at the last second I decided to go with the overkill look, but I got bit in the nuts. Some of these dimensions I just wasnt expecting LOL and i dont think this hook will work
Anyway Ill order the right hook next time

Tomr Perf pcs package will be here and I can get to work on the mobo plate, mobo pan and standoff assembly etc.
thanks for watching
