Tech Bench - Day 09 - sand primer and start painting
just thought that was an awesome shot so I had to take it

(deep in thought)

began sanding the primed parts, the part on the left is sanded with 320 then 400, the part on the right is not sanded

after both sanded

edge with no sanding

sanded half to show the diff
it smooths it out and "clogs the pores" so to speak

bottom panel no sanding

sanded

OMG it shrank from sanding!!!!1111W1T!F1!
prop of wood...

...to raise the panel up so I dont get edge crap when spraying the paint

rusto uni satin black

first panel, one side and edges done (crap edges are hidden edges)

second panel

I seriously had all intentions of scrapping this mod/project this morning because I knew the edges were gonna suck ass, but after some sanding I am giving it a second chance. I will reassess it tomr on my way out the door. The flat planes seem like they will be ok, the edges still have me a bit worried. Ill know more tomr
thanks for watching
