Tech Bench - Day 11 - final assembly 01

set up to continue grind outs

some arbitrary picture of an edge that looks not so great. I have no idea (before some type of sanding ???)

ok , this I know... lined up the fan on the front face before sanding and rouging

marked off the centers, then lowered the fan placement 1"

drilled out

used the fna and scored off the mounting holes, and drilled them out 9/64

test fit



after sanding 220, 320, 400





started assembling the case







put in the shop mobo...

to get the pci mount hole spots



drilled out and tapped main

two others...

needed to grind out the blown weld

one side cleaned

the other

cleaned with AI91%

I wanted to have it assembled today, but I guess it will need to wait until tomr. Ill incorp Jess in the assembly, which will be fun
