Tech Bench - Day 12 - finished but mobo died in transit

got the acrylic laid out in my kitchen (since I had Jessie over the weekend)

used the fairy clamps to align the parts in 90d

clamps made a perfect wedge stand for the weld process

ran a thin bead of weld on 3

after a minute or so I put a pot under the lid section so it sat upright to bond fully. left it in this position for over 2 hours

in the meantime needed to dismatle chuckle tits

thats the beefy intake delta

started putting the stuff in the bench

hi Jessie!

left hdd in cosmos caddy as it raised the drive up about 1/4" on the circuit board side (airflow)

getting there

installed my sunbeam rheobus extreme facing the back of the case since I didnt want multiple blue hi-beams blasting me in the face from the front

time to undress her, slowly, mmmhmmm...

polished with some novus 1

lid attached to box

crate up in office on my desk - I told ya the satin paint would match my desk

rog logo and power-live led's lit up

could probably use some more cleaning

fire it up!

this pic is from this morning after I swapped out the asus board due to the drama of the mobo dying (see previous posts in this thread)

well right now I am running off the dfi lan party x38 and a q6600 2gb ram 800mhz, on win 7 rc 64 with the original Sound Blaster xfi gamer extreme and nv GTX280. All is ok for now but I will be getting a better mobo to support my Q9450 and 4 gigs of 1333 ram. Also the front fan will be replaced with a red led fan, and I want to put a couple strategic red leds in the box to give it some back-glow of sorts

thanks for watching
