First, sorry for slacking on this guide. Been busy with RL as of late.
This update will show you how to force the driver version of RivaTuner where drivers recently released > v185.xx will not be recognized by RivaTuner.
The inability of RivaTuner to detect ForceWare driver versions > 185.xx is not a bug but rather a `version` locked deterant so features of the drivers won't be mis-used by RivaTuner or users and cause problems.
This however nice a featuer does have it's downside. Any driver version greater than the `locked max value` unfortunately will display a screen similar to below (Figure 1.0)
Figure 1.0 - The No Supported Drivers Issue
To overcome this and use RivaTuner's abilitys once again (overclocking, temp monitoring, etc) you must use the Power User setting to override the driver version.
To begin load up RivaTuner and access the `Power User` tab at the top. Upon selection you will be greeted with a warning of it's use. If you so decide to continue please find the `leaf node` of `RivaTuner \ System` in the settings grid below. (Figure 1.1)
Figure 1.1 - The Power User Tab
Once expanded scroll down to find the value `
ForceDriverVersion`. (Figure 1.2)
Figure 1.2 - The ForceDriverVersion Setting
Right click the value and click the `
Yellow` light bulb icon which will enable this setting and default the value to 1.
Click on the value and enter `
18616` minus any decimal places. (Figure 1.3)

You should now have what you see below enabled and version set. Close RivaTuner and restart the application. You now can use the dropdown box next to the `No Supported Driver` line item to continue and use the prior accessable settings. (Figure 1.4)
Figure 1.4 - The Results
There is no way of getting the driver file version below as typical and this puts RivaTuner into what's called `Software Emulation Mode` but is basically a way of saying your forcing the version. I've done this since release of drivers > 185 and the guide, as it stands, STILL works with these settings.
Cheers!
