I'm back again. One week after and by golly have I been busy trying to work out the bulkhead fittings and whatnot. Dedicated bulkhead fittings appeared to be very hard to obtain in this communist(

) country, so I was pretty close to just order them from the UK or Sweden. I've been asking alot of people if they knew about any and today, as the final person I ask, my boss suggested that I could just chop the hat off the brass through-hull fittings we have RIGHT HERE!
Never thought of that, I was too obsessed about finding bulkhead fittings. Talk about saviour of the day man. Anyway, here's what I came up with today:
Went to the plummer and got some quick release couplings and fittings. They were expensive. Expensive enough to pay for a night out. I'm such a nerd. Barbs and through-hull fittings were right under my nose.
Chopped the through-hull fittings and there you go. Instant 3/4" threaded pipe.
Add one nut and slap one coupling in one end and a barb on the other. There's your bulkhead fitting.
Here's the constellation I'm going for. I tried a square placement of the four but to me that was kinda boring. I wanted something else. I think the "diamond" placement is rock solid and works beautifully.
I screwed up one corner on the acrylic plate as I was drilling a mounting hole. I called it the night after that.

I might also shorten the threaded pipe for a closer barb fit but I'm not sure yet.
More stuff vereh soon!
