Ahh Computers No Longer Interest Me Like They Used To

tl;dr: I don't like computers much.

It's true. The more I think about it, the less attractive computers are to me. I don't have a CPU or RAM currently (I was holding off until after exams in an effort to concentrate on studying and revision more) but I'm not entirely sure that I want to get them, even when my exams are over.

My computer has had a lot of money put into it. Way more than I probably should have sensibly been able to acquire, but hey, I'm not going to complain. It was a hobby, after all.

But now... the idea of going back to my computer, dealing with the BIOS regularly, overclocking, worrying about temperatures, framerates... all seems so... well, unattractive. I've been using a laptop for the past couple of months, and to be honest, it's been great (though a high spec laptop would be nice). The fact that I don't have to mess around with it -- or don't even have the desire to do so -- I guess is just... nice. It just works.

Does anyone else ever feel like their interest in the things that were once of great appeal to them waning?
