Correct me if I'm wrong here, but isn't the objective of PC gaming to play a game on PC and have fun? When did it become "Set settings to max, take screenshot, brag to people on the internet"? I don't get it.
Answer me this. Does not having more AF than the guy next to you make the plot worse? Is the violence any less violent because you aren't running it at 1080P? That one liner any less funny because you're only using medium res textures?
It seems those statements are true if I observe most people around here. They seem to care more about the settings they run the game at than they do actually playing it. The popularity of the bechnma-I mean game Crysis also seems to support my thoughts. Having played it completely through I can say it would NOT be half as popular as it is if it weren't for people bragging that they can run crysis at x settings. But that's for another day, when I give it a review.
Who cares if you have 568735967958659896 levels of AA. Put that crowbar to use instead of QQing that you can't see the tooling marks because your video card is thirty seconds out of date.
