Momma Sed

So I've been letting my own worries slip away, only to be replaced by those of others around me. A little nice for a change, but damn.. Life is frusterating sometimes. I strongly believe in fair acting and justice after learning how important it is, and man was this issue my friends had a headache..

Luckily I think I was able to tame everyone, so there should be no more cattle prodding.. Just in time too; I'm leaving for Mexico this saturday morning. But still I dread the possibility of things getting worse while I'm gone. It's such a drain to hear about it all the time.

Anyway, this time I'm doing audio aid toward the beginning. Some of you may wonder why I often end with a picture and now with a song as well... This certainly isn't school (and i'm no teacher), but the simple answer is the following:

Quote:
students retain 10 percent of what they read, 26 percent of what they hear, 30 percent of what they see, 50 percent of what they see and hear, 70 percent of what they say, and 90 percent of what they say as they do something.
I like to pose questions and illustrate ideas in my blogs and my work. I don't expect everyone to appreciate every aspect of what I do in these blogs, but it's a touch I like to add.. If it's appreciated by at least one person, i'm happy. This is also the reason why I add "All comments welcome" to the end of every blog. Maybe an idea spurs that you hadn't thought about before? Discussion is part of that 70 percent after all.

Without further adeu, audio aid and lyrics. Puscifer (or more accurately, Maynard James Keenan) has a tendancy to be sarcastic in his works, and despite how some elements appear, the lyrics are fairly serious. I found them interesting. Enjoy the remixed version (which I believe to be better) and the lyrics to the original.

Listen up, son of mine.
Momma got something to tell you.
All about growing pains.
Life will pound away where the light don't shine, son.

Take it like a man.
Suck it up, son of mine.
Thunder blowing up the horizon.

Changes come.

Momma said like the rain,
this too shall pass like a kidney stone.
It's just a broken heart, son.
This pain will pass away.
