This policy outlines the information that is collected by Overclock.net, and how that information is used. Overclock.net is operated by Performance Computing Enthusiast Forum, Inc. (including its affiliates, the “Company”), a subsidiary of Wikia, Inc.  Please be aware that when you follow a link to another site, this privacy policy does not apply, and the Company has no control over what information they collect from you. Please further note that in the event that this policy conflicts with our terms of use, the terms of use controls.


• In order to sign up for an Overclock.net account, your chosen username, a valid email address, and password are required.
• Overclock.net will not give out or sell your email address to third parties.
• Overclock.net will only contact you through the provided email address with important news about Overclock.net site related issues or for matters directly related to your account.

--User Submitted Data--
• Because of the community nature of this site, any and all information you submit to Overclock.net should be considered publicly viewable - present and future. Submissions to Overclock.net include any and all information you type into any field within the Overclock.net website (with the exception of any passwords).

• Overclock.net uses cookies(a small file that lives in your web browser that helps the service operate with full functionality) as part of the login process and throughout the entire site to uniquely identify members and their accounts.  Most web browsers allow you to disable cookies, and you are welcome to continue to use the service if you choose to do so. However, some of the service’s features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
• The Company uses some of those cookies and the data tracked by some of those cookies in conjunction with various advertisers and advertising networks. • Any information you submit when entering a contest will only be used to facilitate your contest entry. We will seek your permission if such data will be used in any other ways.
