Where to plug for chassis speeds?
According to the the box which my Vantec came in, it should have a speed control. It says clearly on the box "Fan with sensor to monitor speed". I figure I must have to plug it in to a certain spot on my mobo for it to be considered a "chassis fan". So, with no further adue (sp?) here is a picture of my mobo. Is there a certain spot to plug my chassis fan into so I can see speeds?

Unless its something very fancy, It should be a yellow wire that plugs into a standard fan 3pin header. In that picture there is one on the bottom right hand corner of the board.

Beautiful, the wires from my CD drive coulded my vision in that corner....its all good now

You want to plug it into the fan header called Case fan or Fan2...you dont want it in the Fan heasder named CPU,

If anyone seen my thread about random voltages before that stopped, now I'm getting chassis fan readings of -28000

LOL you're telling me...somethings up but I've been asking so many questions I think people are getting sick of answering me. I have a thread called something like, My fan running in reverse? I'll edit this post with a linky, maybe you have an idea. Heres what I mean (look at screeny)
