Hey guys,
__________________i recently installed a big typhoon. My idle temp is 38C and load is 49C. With my stock cooler my idle was 45C and load was 56C. Are these new temps good? I also used Arctic silver 5. Will it take about a week for my temps to get lower after I cure the AS5? Thanks for any feedback u provide.

Those are deffinately better than before and you will see a 1-3 temp decrease after the cure. One thing I would look at is case airflow, rule of thumb for case cooling is low-in high-out side-in.

Yeah case flow is fital. I've got me evo33 running with an intake fan beside a nice little wind tunnel i've made under the cd-drives containing 2x 120mm and it get cold air to the cpu on no time. i've got my dual core at 2.7Ghz with load temp of 46. before if i'd gone that high would of hit 55+!
edit: i forgot to mention i've got 4fans on the evo.

Those temps are ok Nothing great though. After the AS5 has cured it will get better. When you applied the AS5 make sure it was only a BB sized amount. Also case airflow is very important to cooling so make sure you have plenty of that.
