Will a Big Typhoon fit on a Asus P5W-DH board? I need to upgrade the fan on my current build, and want a silent fan that will provide good gooling for the chipset and RAM as well as the CPU.

It shouldn't have a problem, if it fits in your case it should be fine. It only cools the cpu though....not the ram and chipset...

You need bout 1.25" out from the CPU socket to determine clearance.

I have ordered one today. Hopfully I will get enough cooling on the chipset and the board to stay stable without an extra fan. If not, I will fit a 120mm fan on the side of the case to blow more air on the board. I will report the results in this thread.

The TTBT will fit any socket T mobo. It may provide secondary cooling to chipset/ram, but the cooling will be limited if even present. For good chipset cooling, just get a HS for that specifically, they're pretty cheap. RAM-wise you probably don't need cooling, if you do just get some heatspreaders.
