Default chipset cooler

i bought a chipset cooler from my local maplins for a few quid its an akasa fan cooler makes no noise looks cool just wondered what kind of benefits itll give

hmmm, sorry to highjack, but i bought a Zalman NB cooler (passive), to go with an A8N-Deluxe, but due to circumstances it died quickly and i know have an A8N-SLi Premium with a passive Asus cooler. Should i fit the new NB cooler?

i only bought it cause it was a crappy heat sink on the chip thought this might bring temps down

oohh its just a fan, erm it might look cool in a window'd case but at only 5 cfm of air being pushed id be shocked if it helped temps
