Default Perhaps a silly question...

What is the difference between CPU temps and PWM temps?

What is PWM temps?

Sorry for the noob type questions...

I've never heard anybody say that, ever

There is no reason to increase the PWM temps

why would you wanna increase temps? ever?

PWM is the power chips on your motherboard...

EDIT: Pulse width modulation if memory serves...

I thought that PWM was the method used to increase/decrease the speed of the CPU fan. So what you're saying is that the CPU fan is adjusted according to the temps of the of the power chips rather than the core temp of the CPU...?

But what about the BIOS option to have fan controlled by PWM? or VOltage? or Automatic?
