Default Copper Passive or Aluminum Active?

Hey all. I was wondering whether or not to keep my passive copper northbridge heatsink, or switch it out with an aluminum Vantec NB/VGA Heatsink/Fan. I lapped the Vantec(it had the pink bottom and was scratched to hell...) so now it's somewhat shiny.

You would be better off modding a fan to the fins on the heat pipe. IMO. And re seating the heatsink on there with some AS5

I have the same board (just the SLI version) and the heatpipes do a great job. Just keep the pipes. Taking all that off would be a pain.
