Socket A on fire!
I setup an old socket a Athlon 1gh about an hour ago. Thing booted fine when I tested it so I put it in a case and set it up. Started it up and the damn fan wasn't spinning so I got into the bios and checked the temp and it said something around 34C so I figured it had a motherboard fan control or somthin. So I kept watching the temps till it got up til 36C and about that time I seen the Smoke coming from the CPU!!!!
 So I cut the Power and moped around for about 10 min because I just fried my Athlon. Now heres the crazy part, a little later I try it hoping it would work and low and behold I boots with the fan on this time. Thats some crazy sh** right there.

Smoke at 36C?? Theres something not right there. My P4 is at 40C and I dont see any smoke.
