Default CPU Fan Decision (E6600)

I've been researching computer parts for a while so I can build in August...my tentative specs are in my sig.

I had decided on the Zalman 9700...but now I'm reading more and more about the Tuniq Tower and Scythe Infinity. Can anyone help me decide?

I want to overclock my E6600 to 3.5MHz (7x500) on the rig given below. What can keep me the coolest?

Based on what I've read on this forum, I'd say the Tuniq Tower would be the best bet .

100% Tuniq. I run my 6300 at 3.4GHz and that's only because the mobo is strapping me, if I could I would take this up to 4GHz.

*Edit: Due to the temps right now I would have to lap it though and probably gain 10C because it does have extremely big grooves in it as well as my CPU IHS (this was probably caused by my lazy installation though lol).

I like the fact that you're saying that because your rig looks a lot like mine will...same case and CPU.

19 degrees idle? Daym.

Wow! I just looked at your CPU-Z validation.

You're close to where I want to get with a 6600...nice job.

I'm not gonna lap my CPU because I don't want to void my warranty...but if you're that close with a 6300...I'm sure I can get to 3.5Ghz with a E6600.

Repped.

Heh. Thanks for the REP. You should get to 3.5 pretty easily especially with a 6600 versus my 6300 as I have to run a higher vcore than you do so it should keep you way cooler than me ATM. My load temp is around 53C when I use ORTHOS or dual PRIME.

Lol. That looks like a rip off of the Tuniq but cheaper and less powerful.
