So while tweaking with the speed of my processor I decided my airflow must not be very good. I have my e4300 oc'd to 2.16GHz right now with stable temps of 34idle and 47 load, but when I oc'd to 3.0GHz I had fine idle temps, but my loads were higher, going into the 60s, so I figure my case is just not getting enough hot air out and not enough cool air in so the temp builds up faster. I've decided to blame my case for this because my front 120mm intake fan is blocked by the front of my case and can only pull in air from the tiny opening under the usb panel. If I were to take the front of my computer off and drill some holes into it or something to allow for more air being sucked in you think that would be a good idea? Or should I just get a new case?

Well if you was to do that, you may aswell mod the case to accomodate some more fans.
If you can afford it, get a better case. Because the airflow would be much better in a decent case anyways. BUt if you love modding, just drill away ![]()

Not really, if thats the budget i think you would be better off modding. Maybe some else will be able to find a great case for that budget, but non that spring to mind for $50.
Try modding that one, then if you aren't happy. Look into buying another.

What would be the best way to mod the front of the case to allow for more airflow?
