Default For the pour souls with the thermaltake blue orb II

I bought a Tt blue orb two when buying my system, and it its the only component for which I did not read reviews; I should have. Thats your first lesson, read reviews for all your components!

Second, the problem is not that it doesn't cool that well, its because it does not do well with overclocks. It's not an overclocker's best choice, but for a moder who is all about the looks, its sweet.

How I removed 4c off my idle temps and 7c off my load...

First, it must be said that the blue orb 2's fan sucks in air towards its core.
My case, the p180b has 2 integrated fans (as you will see) They both take air out of the system.

I thought of changing their direction to see if it would work better...

Nice I have the same case and will try it. I know I shave 2 degrees by taking the fany that was down by the PSU compartment and put it up in the font middle where the HD and dropped the HD to the lower cage. Now I will try your way and see...

Thanks

weird, my blue orb II does not suck air in, and it made a huge difference over the stock hsf... it could also be the positioning of your fans i guess

Very good methodology. Nice post.

An excellent addition to the knowledge-base archives.

Posting some screnshots of TAT and Orthos will seal the deal and lend heaps of creedence... no offense, I believe you.
It is just good to have some concrete, third-party verification so that all viewers' doubts are put to rest.

Good job!

If it doesn't you probably set your fan the wrong way in.
