Default tuniq tower help

Im looking at buying the tuniq tower: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835154001
but i'm not sure how it works, do you need a fan attached to it? or just a fan to blow at it? or is it just unnecessary/ what high performance cooler should i get?
thanks

The fan is mounted in the middle of the fins. The top plate is removeable to replace the fan.

I cant tell what sort of temps youll get, but its rated one of the best, so id estimate 5-8 c drop. And your oc of 3 gigs is around max you will see, you may be able to push 3.1-3.2, but im not guaranteeing it.
