Default How to lower my temps
Hi there.

Before anyone tells me to reseat my CPU cooler, don't.

What I'm wondering is if there is a way to lower my CPU temps as I dont have A/C in the house and the ambients are 32C.

Right now my motherboard is at 41C and my CPU is running at 56C running at 2.5Ghz for my summer overclock.

Would you suggest just going back to stock for now?

Open up the side, point a desk fan at it :b. Seriously, that's what I did, and on a day where the ambients were around 33°, my cpu (under full load) dropped from 42° to 36°.

lap cpu/hsf
remove IHS
or put a big household fan next to your pc with the side off ??

Even us in Denmark doesn't have AC, so we have about 29c in our rooms during the summer. I got 37c loaded on one of those days

Me two have no A/C my CPU runs 44C ideal ,and my Mobo fan is squeezed under the GTS so it goes way over 50C , but i don't use my PC that much in summer

have you tired redirecting your fans airflow? check out this thread:
