Do these temps look right? e6300 overclocked to 3.5ghz

Hey i just finished building my set up, i have an e6300 overclocked to 3.5ghz with a big typhoon with a thermaltake smart fan at 2800rpms. my idle is 42 and load at 60 with prime 95. here are my overclock specs
__________________500x7 vcore 1.368 ddr2 +.4 FSB +.1 MCH +.2 now are those temps about right? in bios it reads 30 idle but in coretemp and tat it reads 42-44. the computer runs fine but i'm seeing if people are getting better temps or am i just lucky to be overclocking it to 3.5ghz.

What are you ambient temps, do you have go flow in your case, is your chip and bt lapped?

those seem a little high, since I had my 6600 @3.6 with 1.4625vorce at 32 idle 57 load.

What the ambient temp? That could play a good roll. I idle about 42 w/ a big typhoon, but my apartment doesnt have great air flow in the living room =/

Your temperatures are a few degrees higher than they could be for such a low vCore, on Air.
Have you disabled all motherboard fan control?

my ambient is around 40-43c yea at night my temps would go down but during the day here in ga it's blazing hot. and i have 1 fan sucking air in but none sucking air out right now. and no the typhoon isn't lapped neither is the e6300.

Oh you're in Georgia! LOL. Yeah it's crazy hot! That's my homestate. Nah you're probably good at the temps you're at. Trust me, I know how hot it gets there.
You basically have to sleep in a bed of ice to feel room temps.

i'm running the smart fan 2 with the manual adjustment in the back, it's on the highest setting right now. what fan controls should i disable?

In the DS3 Bios it's like the third one down. Where you check Bios temps. Further down in those settings you can disable the fan controls. Try that and run the fans 100 percent at all times to see if it drops.

Yeah Im in alabama, so thats one reason why mine runs at 42. Just moved ehre from Savannah GA. Which there is no diff in temps =(
