What is the difference in "CPU Temp" & "CORE Temp"?
Are the limits eg. 70C MAX temp, the "CPU" or "CORE" temps?

So.... Which is the one that is commonly refered to?
help Basically my core temps @ full load are 60-65C, but the cpu temp reads approx 40-45C. I felt comfy with the CPU temperatures im running, but then i found a program that tells me core temp, and the >60C temp makes me nervous. Is this normal, and if so what is the "STANDARD" choice?

Conventional wisdom holds that core temperatures should not exceed 55-60 degrees C, but several sources (including AMD) cite 65 degrees C as the limit. A recent post of mine flies in the face of conventional wisdom, perhaps, and I'm conscious of the fact that I cannot prove my claim. So, take the cited information as you will. Of course, when it comes to operating temperatures, cooler running is preferable. Hope this helps!

Thanks very much. So when people list their temps, it is "generally" the core temp? I feel more comfy with my 65C core temp. I might just volt the hell outta the 165, I got a 175 on its way!
