Default Thermalright 120 Extreme HELP NEEDED:(

I just got my thermalright ultra-120 extreme heatsink in the mail and I am having a very difficult time putting it together

I cannot figure out how to attach the fan wire clips

I have tried
http://www.thermalright.com/default.htm

and

http://www.thermalright.com/a_page/m...xtreme.htm#775

The picture is not clear on where exactly the holes are that I am to place the fan wire clips into...and my fan wire clips are slightly different shaped from those shown in the pictures

Is there a front or back for this Heatsink? I cannot get this to work in any direction.

Any and all help is greatly appreciated!

Which fan are you trying to fit? If its the Silverstone FM121 you will need to slap off the inside part of the fan so its holds right - Thermalright did not to their homework on the fan clip and IMO its a terrible design

I just took a couple pictures of my Panaflo fan attached to the Thermalright Ultra120 Extreme. You can see where the clips attach into the top of the heatsink at the sides (there's a couple tiny pinholes there). Same place in the bottom.

Wonderful, the picture on the right helped me tremendously!

my fan now fits on perfectly, I guess it's just time now to get the rest of my gear put together and get it up and running
