Default Processor lapping cleanup (help)

Hi guys, just finished lapping my e6400--first processor lap. Naturally enough, some water and copper dust got on the pin contacts and plastic backing. I wiped it off the chip with a coffee filter and rinsed the backing...but I'm wondering if there's anything else I should do before I fire this baby up again....

Make sure you sandpaper the hole, and then put some U rubber over it to avoid sharp edges. Put some grease around the newly drilled hole, and then screw your computer, screw it hard. Maybe install some UV lights and turn em up to indicate that your computer is also excited.

really you can wipe it off with rubbing alchohol or even water

Just with water make sure you let it dry for a day or so

If your worried some metallic material is in the pin area, an electronics cleaner in a spray bomb would behoove you.
