Default Cooling Sempron 3100+

My nephew has an emachines w3107 that runs a sempron 3100+. I was curios to see what the temps ran at. So, I fired up speedfan. The thing was running 68c @ idle. So, I took it apart and threw some AS5 on there. They had way too much thermal paste on there to start with. Afterwards, it ran at around 50c @ idle. The crappy fan only runs @ 1900rpm. So, I just ordered a new fan. It's a beast, I just wanted know how well you guys think this will work.

* 60 x 60 x 38 mm
* 6-Pin Plug
* DC 12V, 1.68A
* 10,000 RPM (Max)
* 1.821 - 64.31 (Maximum Air Flow)
* 31.86 - 1.254 (Maximum Air Pressure)
* 64.0 Noise

It's for a server but I had to try the 10k rpm.

Did you just order a new fan or a heatsink with it?

Temps should go down a bunch, good luck!

Well then it won't give you much better temps, but it will help. I'm guessing that fan is less than 80mm. With it pushing 64 dba...have fun with the noise.
