Here's my quick review of the Thermaltake V1. I copied and pasted from my site. There are a few attached pictures.. but for full version go here:
http://blizzie.com/review-thermaltake-v1/ WARNING: This is an off site link. Proceed at your own caution. Oh yea.. Didn't know if this was the right place. If not, please move it. Thank You. --------------------------- Went to store today and bought a Thermaltake V1. It's compatible with a huge variety of CPUs; both Intel and AMD. As you cans ee below, the whole heat sink is made out of copper with a fan right in between. It also has 4 heatpipes to allow quick heat transfers. Fan Speed = 1300 ~ 2000 RPM Max Air Flow = 86.5 CFM Noise = 16 dBA ~ 24 dBA Weight = 637g Installation was quick and simple since it used push pins, just like the stock Intel cooler. The base was also nice and shiny. It's set up so that it blows air out the top; where my 200 mm fan is. Here it is running. Nice blue LED fan 110 mm. There's a fan controller for the speed. At the lowest setting, it's nearly silent but at maximum it sounds like a car engine.. (with fan running at ~1380 RPM) Ambient = 24 C Idle = 34 C Full Load = 39 C Cores Idle = 23-24 C Cores Full Load = 36-37 C For me, it seems to perform the same as my Tuniq Tower. All tests were performed on an Intel E6600 CPU overclocked to 3.0 GHz.

Just curious, but what did you use for full load, and how long did you wait to take the temp readings?

I used Orthos. (Blend) And I waited about 30 minutes. If you want I can run it overnight. Since I need to check CPU stability anyways. =D Eh.. might as well. xD
