Default What's the best Laptop cooler?
My roommate needs a laptop computer cooler ... his DVD drive quits working due to heat issues ...

Anybody have any suggestions?

Basicly, just put it on any desk, and buy 2 USB fans from radioshack and place them wherever, one on the side of the dvd, one where the holes are

There are tons, and as long as it has a fan it'll work..i use the Vantec Lapcool 3 for my Pentium 3 lappy...keeps the bottom at room temperature when its running..

Lapcool 3 is pretty good, I have one too, but my laptop is crap and I wish I had never bough it.

lol my Dell XPS Generation 1 is sitting on this deal that elevates it about 1/2" above the regular sitting position on a desk...runs at 55C max CPU load and it has the fastest Intel Northwood Desktop processor that you can buy in it lol.
